If you were a fan of theNier Automataseries, then you will be over the moon withStellar Blade, as it uses some Souls-like mechanics while continuing to push forward with the post-apocalyptic waste lands, infected enemies known as NA:tives, and a whole mess to clean up.

Along with these announcements, we also received a release date forStellar Blade, as we now know that we will finally be getting this game on April 26th of this year.

More game information has been released regarding Stellar Blade and its massive world.

What Has Been Teased During This Year’s State of Play for Stellar Blade?

During the State of Play trailer, it was revealed that players will have plenty of locations, stories, and combat to enjoy withinStellar Blade, as we will begin to explore the planet, meet new people, save who we can, and defeat all that gets in our path.

Throughout the game, you will be tasked with exploring a barren wasteland of a world as you hunt down enemies, save citizens, and eventually save the world. This will be no easy challenge, as players will be put against all manner of abominations as they attempt to stop you in your tracks.

WithinStellar Blade, players will have to learn all manner of skills, whether through upgrades in the story or by using the rest stations that have been left behind by those who came before. In these locations, you will be able to rest and heal your wounds, upgrade your weapons, and even buy items that you may use to survive.

All of this, coupled with a similar combat style toBayonetta, meaning that as you dodge and cartwheel your way out of your enemies weapons while being able to climb and eviscerate anyone who is causing you distress, there are plenty of ways to progress inStellar Blade.

However, the game isn’t always about combat, as players will also be tasked with helping survivors within city walls, as they request your help and provide you with shelter, all the while you earn their trust. None of this comes easy, as there are plenty of tasks to complete.

Players Won’t Be Alone in This Journey, as There Will Also Be NPC’s Accompanying Them.

Even though we, as the player, take control of Eve, there will also be other characters involved in the game. One is known as Adam, who was born on Earth before it collapsed from the disease. There will also be Lily, who may look a little young for the job, but she will provide Eve with the upgrades necessary to progress through the game.

Both of these characters will become vital to your progress in the game, as you will require all manner of help from them throughout your adventure. These aren’t the only characters who are involved in the game, as there are also residents of Earth who will be waiting for Eve to come rescue them.

However, to these residents, Eve isn’t just a normal person; she is actually referred to as Angel. Even though this is the name of the squad she is a part of, the survivors on Earth do not understand this and refer to her as an angel herself.

Along with the human survivors, there are also human enemies who will occasionally attempt to stop Eve on her mission; this may prove to be in vain, but until we see the game in action, we do not know why they are a threat or whether they are right or wrong.

What do you think about theStellar Blade? Are you looking forward to playing Eve and exploring a post-apocalyptic Earth? Let us know in the comments what you think!
