Baldur’s Gate 3is a game that contains a lot of romance, and it’s not just limited to the player character either. There is numerous examples of NPC relationships and courtships, like the popular Selunite duo of Dame Aylin and Isobel.
However, it’s not just perfect, angelic beings of the Moon that engage in courtship in Baldur’s Gate 3; love blossoms even among Faerun’s most wretched creatures. The Lolth-sworn Drow Minthara runs a tight ship at the Goblin Camp, so much so that she’s attracted the affections of one of her subordinates.

I Can’t Stop Thinking About The Underwear In Baldur’s Gate 3 | Gaming Lit 101
I can’t be the only one who’s obsessed…right?
The poetry-loving Goblin Tracker Klagga has fallen hopelessly in love with Minthara, and you can find love notes the Goblin wants to send to the object of his affections. You can find Klagga’s intimate messages behind the Waterfall in the Goblin Camp, a spot he is using to write his deepest, most romantic thoughts.

The Deepest, Darkest Reaches Of A Goblin’s Heart
In ‘Parchment’, he recounts a story about how Minthara spotted him chasing chickens and told his boss Ragzlin that she hoped the goblins were as good at killing as they are at “plucking poultry.” This moment has stuck with Klagga, as it made him “feel proper special.”
In ‘Unfinished Love Letter’, Klagga tries to arouse Minthara with prose about her home, The Underdark. He ponders whether Drow enjoy comparisons to mushrooms, before concluding they probably do.

Finally, in ‘Love Letter Notes’, our Goblin suitor struggles to find the right comparisons for Minthara. The moon and the stars are out of the question as she lives underground, he also worries that he won’t be tall enough for her.
I ain’t never been to the Underdark. Grikka says there’s beasties down there that make an ogre look like a baby gnome, but I says if anythin' as lovely as you grows among all the tasty mushrooms down there it’s the best place there ever was. - Klagga, Unfinished Love Letter

Despite Klagga’s undying love for his master, Minthara does not share these feelings. As she comes from a noble upbringing in Menzoberranzen, the Paladin has a major superiority complex, and she just isn’t that fond of Goblins.
If Klagga were to reveal his true feelings, I’d suspect that Minthara would probably execute him on the spot. It’s an unfortunate reality of life, not all love is meant to be.
