Clerics are powerful spell casters fueled by divine faith. In both tabletop Dungeons and Dragons, andBaldur’s Gate 3, Clerics often serve as the heart of a party. Their healing abilities are unmatched, and thanks to them being able to prepare spells between encounters, they are adaptable at a moment’s notice.

They are also great in support roles. With the right items to support a Cleric, they can perform even higher feats. When you go to fight the big bad evil boss and their minions, you will have quite the collection of items to choose from. Here are the best options to drape your Cleric in success.
10Blood Of Lathander
The Blood Of Lathander is theearliest legendary weaponyou can get on Baldur’s Gate 3. Actually getting it is quite the trial. but the struggle is well worth it.
A plus three bonus to weapon attacks, a casting of Sunbeam, a free heal on knockout, and blinding all undead that get too close; this weapon has more abilities than early game Fighters. It’s perfect in Cleric hands.

9Viconia’s Walking Fortress
As the only legendary shield in the game, Viconia’s Walking Fortress offers a Cleric better protection than most. It boosts armor class by three instead of two and grants more magic buffs.
Your Cleric has advantage on saving throws against magic, letting them resist more spells. They can also retaliate when hit with a shield bash, and they get a free casting of warding bond. To get it, you will have todefeat Viconia, which is a tough fight itself.

8The Hood Of The Weave
Some would say becoming a powerful spell caster takes diligence and skill. Or, you could put on this hood, and immediately be two stages better than you were a moment ago. The Hood of the Weave is sought after by every spell-casting class in the game for its bonus is huge, and it looks cool.

Once equipped, the wearer gains a plus two bonus to their spell save difficulty and their spell attacks. In the end game, where enemies are adding large numbers to their saves, you need to fight back with your own, even bigger numbers. On the head of a Cleric, this hood will let their most debilitating spells take root.
7Cloak Of Protection
Boosting your defenses is never a bad idea. The Cloak of Protection is an easy-to-find boost to both your armor class and your saving throws. Since these two numbers directly dictate how much you’re affected by an attack, an item that raises both, even if it’s just by one, is a very efficient use of your equipment slots.
Also, all the good heroes have capes, get one for yourself. You can find this cloak sold by Quartermaster Tallinn at the Last Light Inn.

6Adamantine Scale Mail
Adamantine armor is a great early-game itemyou can craftthat will last you the rest of the playthrough. Most Clerics are proficient with medium or lighter armor, but some subclasses can wear the heavier stuff. For those Clerics, Adamantine Splint is better, but for most Clerics, the scale mail is what they can wear.
In addition to giving a solid 16 to 18 Armor class, the Adamantine Scale Mail reduces all incoming damage by one. Additionally, anyone who hits you in melee gains Reeling, a status that reduces their attack rolls. Best of all, you can’t be crit.

5The Reviving’s Hands
Healing in Baldur’s Gate is only a stop-gap maneuver. Spending your entire turn healing will only delay the inevitable unless you can act offensively as well. The Reviver’s Hands improve your healing spells to prevent incoming damage as well as heal.
Every time you heal a creature while wearing these gloves, it gains resistance to physical damage. With group healing spells, you improve your entire team’s durability, meaning you have to heal less, and can go on the offensive.

4Vital Conduit Boots
Hold Person, Spirit Guardians, Planar Binding - all these spells and more require a Cleric toconcentrate on a spellto keep it active. Many of the Clerics best tools require them to keep concentration during its effect, and that makes the concentrating condition very common to them. These boots are made to bolster clerics because of that.

The Vital Conduit Boots grant eight temporary hitpoints every time the wearer begins concentrating. Available from the Githyanki creche in Act Two, you may grab these early, and give your Cleric a consistent durability boost that only gets better as you find more equipment on this list.
3Amulet Of The Devout
This Amulet is made for Clerics. You can find it beneath the Stormshore Tabernacle in Act Three, and you’ll have to fight a Deva for it, but the struggle is worth it. The pendant grants you Higher Spellcasting, raising your spell save DC by two whole points. Since Clerics have a lot of spells that force saving throws, this is an essential boost.
The second benefit provided is specific to Clerics. It increases your Channel Divinity charges to give you one extra casting. Aside from Turn Undead, the benefit of Channel Divinity is determined by your subclass. Whatever the case is for your particular Cleric, they will gain an extra use of a powerful ability.
2Ring Of Free Action
The Ring of Free Action is the second ring Clerics should wear. Once again, your support character being unable to act doesn’t just waste their turn, but it keeps the whole team from performing their best. This ring will ensure your Cleric is never paralyzed or restrained, and can always reach the position the need.
You get this ring in Act Two. When you reach Moonrise Towers, seek out the merchant named Araj Oblodra. In addition to having some very unique deals, she has this ring on sale for your purchase. Pick it up. Its boost is general and all characters, not just Clerics, can make good use of its power.
1Ring Of Regeneration
The Ring of Regeneration is the first ring you should equip. Having your support character go down is a huge detriment to the team, and you’ll have to spend a lot more resources to do something they could in an instant.
This ring heals the wearer at the start of every turn. Combined with the Reviver’s Hands, your Cleric effectively has permanent physical resistance. You can acquire the ring from the merchant Vicar Humbletoes in the Stormshore Tabernacle.
