The Marvel Cinematic Universe is big and expansive and has been around since Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man bounded into our screens in his flying suit. Now, after more than a decade in business, Marvel Studios seems to be in a slump, as their last few projects have not made the audiences very happy. But fans are still holding in to hope that the coming projects will fare better than the previous ones.

Avengers: Secret Wars.

Avengers: Secret Warsis an upcoming project from the studios, set to release in 2027. The movie is rumored to bring in a lot of old and new faces, which will be the conclusion to the Multiverse Saga of the MCU. But a new update is not sitting too well with the fans.

Avengers: Secret WarsTo Bring in the Inhumans

Since the Multiverse saga began, the MCU seems to be hitting roadblock after roadblock. From TV shows to movies, not a lot seems to working in favor of the studio. While some have done pretty well, likeLoki, Hawkeye,andX-Men ’97, others have become the butt of the joke with projects likeShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law,AntMan and the Wasp: Quantamania, andThe Marvels, the latter of which ended up becoming the worst rated MCU movie, ever.

Secret Wars Reportedly Bringing Back Two Legacy Superheroes to Lead the Avengers Hints 2 Major Deaths are Coming

And now, the latest update from the studio is allegedly bringing in characters from the worst-rated MCU TV series –Marvel’sInhumans. Starring Anson Mount, Iwan Rheon, Serinda Swan, and Eme Ikwuakor among others,Inhumanshas arotten score of 11%on the review aggregate website. Although we are not sure in what capacity the characters from this show will be included in the upcoming feature, it is not looking too well forSecret Wars.

Fans React to The Inclusion of Inhumans inAvengers: Secret Wars

Marvel’s Inhumanscame out in 2017, where the audiences met a different race of beings. Even though the concept of Inhumans had already been introduced inMarvel’sAgents of SHIELD, with characters like Chloe Bennett’s Skye/Daisy Johnson, in the 2017 series we were taken to a whole new world, ruled by the Inhumans. Unfortunately, even with some pretty good names attached to the projects, the show could not manage to make a mark, and was canceled soon after.

And now, after the X account Marvel Updates let it known that the Inhumans will return inAvengers: Secret Wars, fans have been clamoring to the media website, citing their opinion on the matter. Here is what they have to say:

For the majority, fans are not too excited with this news. This might just become yet another mistake from the studios, and could doom the upcoming movie even before it hits the theaters.
