One of the surprise releases of the year has to be Rebellion’sAtomfall. The action game from the Sniper Elite developer shocked many since it deviated from titles the studio is known for with a very ambitious game.
If you’re hoping for more Atomfall, you’re in luck, as it seems a sequel is already being planned.

Atomfall 2 Already Being Discussed Given First Game Was Profitable
Speaking toThe Game Business, Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley confirmed that even if Atomfall was available day one on Xbox Game Pass, it was “immediately profitable” even without it.
While DLC is coming to the game, sequels and spinoffs are also not out fo the question. Kingsley notes (viaEurogamer), “We’ve now got the challenge of a massive new success in Atomfall. What do we do in the future with Atomfall? Well… we’ve got DLC coming up,” he continued before adding: “We’re talking about what do we do about sequels? Do we do spin-offs?”
Chances are, its player base wouldn’t balk at a sequel, given that, according to the studio, it was Rebellion’s most successful launch of all time.
If Atomfall will be anything like the Sniper Elite franchise, expect a good dose of DLC and free content drop from Rebellion.

If you’ve yet to try Atomfall, you may do so via Game Pass.
