Last week,PlayStation’s State of Play rolled around once again and highlighted an array of games during its presentation. Even though there was a little bit of everything to suit all genres of players, it was the Astro Bot’s reveal that truly stole the show.
Featuring over 150 iconic PlayStation-inspired cameos and no microtransactions throughout its game, Astro Bot’s vibrant and fun trailer captured the audience who can’t wait to get their hands on those little adorable blue robots again in September. Another thing that PlayStation players have been going crazy for is a Astro Bot’sDualSenseController concept design that is making people want to “preorder it so fast”.

PlayStation Fans Are Convinced The PS5 Pro Was In The Astro Bot Trailer
Apparently nobody has ever seen a PlayStation 5 without its side plates on…
Just like PlayStation’s God of War, The Last of Us and Spider-Man 2’s limited edition DualSense Controllers, fans are now crying out for Sony to get on it with an Astro Bot controller, and it’s all down to this wonderful piece of concept design byTCMFGameson Twitter/X.

Showcasing a stunning smooth white body with blue sides to match the Astro Bot color theme, TCMF’s design is turning heads and already making people need it to play the PS5 game when it releases. One of the concept design’s main talking points is the Astro eyes on the controller’s touchpad as it lights up, giving the DualSense a vibrant edition to its already award-winning layout. Some of the comments in TCMF’s post only goes to show that players would literally throw all of their money at this if Sony decided to release it themselves.
“I would pre-order so fast” stated one reply to the post. Another impatient PlayStation fan said “great now I want it”, while another expressed they’d waste no time in picking this one up, “I’d buy this in a heartbeat. I love Astro Bot.”

“As soon as I saw it in the trailer I immediately thought they gotta give us one of these lol”
It seems likely that Sony could design their very own controller, similar to this awesome design, since they have gone down this road many times when there’s a lot of hype for a certain game and plan one for Asto Bot’s release in September. Either way, the excitement is brewing for the “standalone, full-sized adventure"with only months to go before players can dive in. Already, the Astro Bot trailer isgetting more hypethan the upcoming PvP hero shooter, Concord.
