The Fatherless Monk
The first subquest of The Wounded is called “The Fatherless Monk,” and it involves usfinding a man named Kyonyo.
The hints of his whereabouts are the following: South of Sakai, West of Izumi Coast, and at Gansenji Temple. Use your Scouts to reveal his location, which you can find in the image attached.

When you reach Kyonyo’s location at Gansenji Temple, you’ll instantly notice that it’s swarmed with enemies, all with blue waypoints. Your job here is todefeat all the enemies with waypoints, and then speak to Kyonyo.

There are a few dialogue options when speaking to Kyonyo, butnone change the outcome of the quest. Pick whatever you like here.

After speaking with Kyonyo, the Fatherless Monk subquest will conclude. Now head to your objectives page and select the next subquest available, which is “Stolen Faith.”
Stolen Faith
The first objective of the Stolen Faith subquest is tofind Mitsumune, who is located somewhere in Izumi Settsu. The game provides a hint that he is north of Amegasaki and camps at Nunobiki Falls.
Just like before, use your Scoutsin the area shown in the image attached to reveal the blue waypoint and then make your way to it.

When you reach the waypoint’s location, useL2/LT to Observe the areato find a small blue dot in the distance. This small blue dot leads to Mitsumune and his camp next to the waterfall. Approach Mitsumune and speak with him.
Mitsumune will agree to help Naoe in her quest for vengeance and take down Wada Koretake as long as sheagrees to find a missing statue. Let’s discuss how to find this missing statue.
Finding the Missing Statue
So far, we know that the missing statue was taken by a group of bandits. The game tells us that it was taken to Senri Hills at Toneyama Post Town, so open your map andsend your Scouts to investigate Senri Hillsto reveal the waypoint.
Once you reach the waypoint in Toneyama Post Town, you’ll notice asmall town heavily guarded. To get a sense of what you’re up against, use Observe to find the small blue dot, indicating exactly where the statue is located.

The best way to go about this is toenter the town from the leftand take out the two soldiers who are guarding the doorway.
Next, climb up on the roof, use Kukrito take out lower-leveled enemies from afar, and thensneak into the building and steal the statue.
Once you have the statue in hand, it’s time to return to Mitsumune and inform him of the good news. Next, open your objectives page andselect the final subquest,“The Killing Field.”
The Killing Field
The final subquest of The Wounded involves Naoe killing the executioner. The hints are that he is located in Izumi Settsu, west of Amagasaki, and at Nanatsumatsu. However, his exact location is in the image attached.
Make your way to the blue waypoint, after creating it with Scouts, where you’ll encounter a small encampment. The executioner is the big guy, directly in the middle of the camp, who is guarding a group of prisoners. His name is revealed to be Nanatsumatsu.
To improve your chances of defeating Nanatsumatsu in a fight, you want tosilently kill as many enemies in the camp as possible. Use Kukri from a distance andwhistle while in bushesto open up an opportunity to assassinate.
When you think you’re ready, sneak up on Nanatsumatsu and attempt to assassinate him. While you won’t be able to kill him withan assassination attempt, you will at least do a good amount of damage at the start of the fight.
10 Best RPG Sequels That Improve On The Original
The RPG is a genre that often begs for a second game, as the worlds created within the original games are often incredibly vast.
After defeating Nanatsumatsu, free the prisoners from their captivity.Next, return to Kyonyo to move on to the next objective in The Wounded quest.
When you approach Kyonyo’s location, there will be a weird anomaly that you need to interact with. While it’s not part of this specific quest, it’s a tutorial session that the game makes you interact with, since it’s blocking Kyonyo.
Speak to Kyonyo and tell him you’re ready for the mission. A short cutscene will play out, and then right after, Naoe and her allies will be at the fortress' location.
Heads Will Roll
The first objective here is todefeat all the gunmen within the fortress' walls, who are all represented by a blue waypoint. There are four gunmen on the west side and four on the east.
Once the gunmen are killed, it’s officially time tohunt down Wada Koretake. The game hints that he is in the courtyard area, so use Observe to find the blue dot, representing his exact location.
There’s a good chance that Wada Koretake will be too high a level, so assassinating may not work. You may have to defeat him in a duel, which sounds intimidating, but it’s really not that hard.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows' PS5 Performance Modes Detailed Ahead Of Launch With Surprising Ray Tracing Support
Ubisoft has shared details ahead of launch about Assassin’s Creed Shadows' PS5 Performance Modes including support for Ray Tracing.
Remember tododge red attacks, counter gray ones, and deflect blue attacks in succession(usually three or four times) to get the advantage over Wada Koretake.
After you kill Wada Koretake, a short dialogue sequence will occur where you’ll have a reallyimportant decision to make. You can either choose to kill the enemy survivor or spare him.
Should You Kill or Spare the Survivor?
Deciding whether to kill or spare the survivorwill impact Yaya. Even though the survivor helped Wada Koretake, Yaya believes that it isn’t justice to kill him.
As for Naoe, you get to choose from the following options: “Justice must be served” or “Killing them isn’t justice.” Choosing the former will have Yaya disgusted with your decision, while the latter will have her seeing you in a favorable light.
Deciding whether to side with Yaya or not will change dialogue interactions with her in later missions, such as in theStray Dog quest, where she’ll act colder to you if you went against her wishes here.
