The officialUbisoftwebsite has the patch notes for the newly released 1.0.7 update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which is roughly 9GB on all platforms. Thislatest patch is a doozy, especially for those who can’t get enough of the base game.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Has A New Game+ Mode
The biggest addition in the 1.0.7 patch is New Game+, which can be accessed aftercompleting the main game. This lets the player start over with most of their old gear and resources unlocked from the beginning, which can be done up to eight times. Players who finish a New Game+ run will be given awesome new golden katanas: Whisper of Gold and Dragon’s Gold, as souvenirs of their victory.
Naturally, the enemies in New Game+ are tougher, with the level cap raised from 60 to 80 to accommodate this. The Knowledge Rank system has added levels 9 and 10 to give the player even more abilities to use in combat. The Forge can also be upgraded to level 4, allowing access to stronger weapon upgrades.
The patch has also added several performance and bug fixes, as well as balance updates that make certain enemies harder, and made some player abilities stronger. The money system has also been tweaked, as it’s easier to make money from trading.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will receive theClaws of Awaji story DLCon September 16, which adds a whole new region to the game. Players will have a chance to buff their character before then, by taking a few more trips through the story mode.
