Given all the time players have spent playing Elden Ring, the game still manages to stay fresh after two years of official release. It’s no surprise that the game’s lore and replayability have contributed to its massive success.

As players wait forElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the community has been creative and productive at building up a list of all the things they’d like to see in the DLC. This wishlist on Reddit has some wonderful ideas, and we might just see some of these come to life when the expansion arrives.
An Elden Ring Player Explains in Detail What They’d Like to See in Shadow of the Erdtree
Apostby user MindOfTheSwarm on Reddit has carefully picked out a list of all the things they’d like to witness in the expansion. Out of the 15 things that exist, some are genuinely great additions that would makeShadow of the Erdtreeworth the long wait.
An interesting one here is the inclusion of a sea monster. As it happens, most bosses inElden Ringeither break the ground around them or annoyingly fly around, waiting for the right time to strike. Some even flee away and ask you to keep up (looking at you, Elden Beast).

The concept of sea monsters isn’t only an interesting one but also expands on the possibility that the DLC can include an entire location that needs to be reversed by some kind of boat. Sorry Torrent; we may not need you for this one.
Another fascinating entry would be more poison sorceries. In their default states, a lot of incarnations, spells, and sorcery deal with the ideas of spirit, death, blood, and so on. But, for some reason, the effect of deadly poison somehow takes a back seat. Wouldn’t it be cool to apply sorceries and chant spells that would ideally make you a poisonous freak in both PvE and PvP?

Furthermore, there’s also a mention of an NPC that can help out with farming materials. That’s right, the user points out howElden Ring’sexpansion can include a merchant who helps us out with tough-to-find materials that may be needed for crafting or improving gear.
Now that’s something that could help players immensely on their journey across the Lands Between. Or, wherever else we may be heading next.

The Wishlist is One of the Many Ideas Players Have had in the Community
All the hype forShadow of the Erdtreehas showcased itself in creative ideas, theories, and everything in between for Elden Ring’s future. The wishlist also mentions the inclusion of more weapons, talisman buffs, and so on. Is any of this possible?
Well, considering FromSoftware’s talent for making good DLCs, it’s certainly possible. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard anything officially about what kind of gameplay and quality-of-life updates we can expect, so everything at the time of writing remains speculative.

Moreover, there are enough theories ranging from the existence of an afterlife to having time travel as part of theElden Ring’slore going forward. There’s a lot the developers can work with here, but we’ll have to wait and watch asShadow of the Erdtreebreathes more life into the Lands Between.
In the meantime, what do you think about the wishlist? Is there something you’d like to add? Let us know in the comments below.
