A brand new update for Apex Legends went live earlier today (Friday, July 22) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Players are currently making the most of the recently released Gaiden Event, which will be sticking around until the start of next month. However, there’s still plenty of work for the developers to do in the meantime.

New bug fix patches are often deployed on a regular basis, with the last one just being a few short weeks ago. But, with a game as popular as Apex Legends, you’re able to always count on new bugs and glitches to occur frequently. Apex Legends Update 2.01 Patch Notes For Friday, July 22

We’re still currently waiting for Respawn Entertainment to confirm what fixes were included in today’s update; we expect an official change log to be shared shortly.

However, thanks toKralRindo, a data miner within the Apex community, we do know what bug fixes are likely included in the latest patch. Taking to Twitter, KralRindo says that the update is “most likely audio fix for Bangalore prestige skin finisher and Mirage battlepass ground emote”.

It seems as though today’s Apex Legends update is merely for some audio issues, but there is expected to be some further fixes too. According to the game’s officialTrello board, there are numerous other issues aiming to be fixed in an upcoming patch:

Although these issues are marked to be released in an upcoming patch, it has yet to be confirmed by Respawn if they were included in today’s update.
