Just like any other parent, Andrew Garfield’s father had certain expectations from his son. Expectations that didn’t necessarily resonate with what the actor wanted to do with his life. Despite his reservations, he allowed his son to go make a name for himself on one condition – he would have to do a course in business studies as well. You know, just to be on the safe side. Luckily, the path Andrew Garfield took led to remarkable things but his relationship with his father reached a point where he would have to take therapy to deal with it all.
