The horror genre of the anime industry has finally gotten the much-awaited Junji Ito’sUzumakias Adult Swim recently released its first episode. The terrifying series was announced years ago, and ever since then, fans have been waiting to see the bone-chilling narrative, which has earned Ito a lot of praise and appreciation and improved his status as a horror manga creator.

Uzumakifollows the story of a mysterious town called Kurouzo-cho that gets the horrifying spiral curse. This curse wreaks havoc on the entire town in the most dreaded way, and the protagonists, a young girl, Kirie Goshima, and her boyfriend, Shuichi Saito, experience these horrors.Uzumakiis considered one of the greatest hits in the horror community.

While it started quite peacefully, things slowly started going out of control, and within a few minutes, chaos was unleashed, revealing the spiral curse. The curse quickly spreads all over the small town, and many of them are already affected by it.

Overall, fans loved the episodes as they had the perfect blend of terror and fear that reflects Ito’s original style and brings the scariest themes to life.
