This month is quite a big one for Pokemon Go, as it will be marking the beginning of an all-new season, The Season of Light. As one would have expected, it is going to be a packed month, with tons of events taking place on a regular basis. Here is the schedule announced so far. Do note that events are added throughout the course of the month as well, so we might be seeing some events being added to the list in the coming days.
Raid Bosses
There are some really powerful Pokemon coming to Raid Battles for the month of September. First up, we have different forms of Deoxys coming to 5-star Raids. This will be lasting until September 13th and will kick off with the beginning of Season of Light. As usual, we have four forms of Deoxys, Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed. The next set of Pokemon have not been revealed, but fans can expect something equally powerful for the next rotation as well. Lastly, we have Yveltal coming to raids towards the end of the month. All of the Pokemon have shiny variants available, so if you want to add some rare shinies to your collection, you should be focusing on 5-star raids next month.
Next up, we have the mega raids. For Mega Raids, players will be getting a chance to catch Mega Ampharos at the start of the month. It will stay until 6th September, and the next couple of Pokemon for the remaining month have not been revealed. Right at the end of the month, Mega Lopunny will be available in Mega Raids. Both these Pokemon have their shiny variants are available in the game.
There will also be four Raid Hours which will take place over the month. The first and last one will feature the various forms of Deoxys and Yveltal, respectively, while the remaining ones have not been revealed yet.
