Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind popularArkham Batmangames which are arguably the best superhero games ever released is returning after a hiatus of nearly 8 years withSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game will be launching on August 09, 2025, and is set in the same world as theArkham Batmangames and will pit the Suicide Squad against Justice League.
The story of the game takes place in Metropolis as the city is being attacked by aliens and Brainiac has corrupted the minds of superheroes of the Justice League including Batman, Superman, The Flash, and Green Lantern, and the Suicide Squad is called to save the city from their wrath and chaos. Task Force X consists of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they take on Justice League in an original story written by Rocksteady.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueis a multiplayer title with four-player co-op and each character will have unique combat and traversal mechanics that make the game a high-octane action title worth playing. Players will also be able to play the game solo as any character they like and the other three characters will be controlled by AI and players can switch characters at any time.
3Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’sYakuzaseries is one of the most popular franchises out there and has always delivered great story and gameplay in its titles.Yakuza: Like a Dragonintroduced Ichiban Kasuga as a new protagonist and pivoted from live-action combat that was seen in previous titles to turn-based combat mechanics. The upcoming title in the series,Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealthis all set to release on July 04, 2025, and will feature turn-based combat as well as dual protagonists.
Players will be playing as Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu who is a returning character and it seems like the franchise will bid him farewell for the last time. The story of the game follows Ichiban Kasuga as he goes to Honolulu, Hawaii to look for his mother and meets with Kazuma Kiryu who reveals that he is suffering from cancer.
The game is a single-player title and is going to the United States for the first time. Infinite Wealth will feature several attractive locations for players to explore, multiple mini-games to enjoy, and an improved combat system. Additionally, with voice actors like Daniel Dae Kim and Danny Trejo joining the voice cast, it is surely one of the most exciting upcoming games next year.
2Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
