This movie is perfect for people who love experiencing revenge plots. Robbie acts as Annie/Bonnie, a set of twins who conspire against a man who killed their mother. However, the story takes a massive turn when the twins encounter their abuser from an orphanage they lived in.

2Dreamland (2019)
Dreamlandis a wicked story based on how love can truly drive someone insane, leading them to a life of crime. Yet again, Margot Robbie acts as one of the lead characters while producing the project alongside her partner in crime (no pun intended), Tom Ackerley.
The story is based in the 1930s when a boy named Eugene Evans grew up alongside his mother and sister, Phoebe after the father abandoned them when he was young. Eugene befriends Joe and they become extremely close.
But the story only begins when his mother marries a lawman, George Evans. One day, when Eugene is much older, he attends a town meeting which was held to inform the town’s residents of a woman named, Allison Wells, who was wanted for robbery and murder. Eugene takes it upon himself to find this woman.

Eventually, Eugene gets intertwined with Allison’s twisted lies falls in love with her, and tries to help her escape. Eugene, portrayed by Finn Cole, does everything in his power to help his wanted lover (Margot Robbie) escape, including tampering with evidence.
At some point, Eugene decides to leave everything behind and escape with Allison, while getting involved in another robbery and murder in the mix. Both Allison and Eugene struggle to make sense of what they are doing before they encounter a posse led by George, who kills a wanted woman.
Eugene escapes and the story ends with his sister, Phoebe narrating that they never saw him again after that incident. If you’re a hopeless romantic who loves a bit of crime as well, this is a perfect movie for you to watch.

3Promising Young Woman (2020)
Now, let’s take a break from movies that featured Margot Robbie in front of the camera and talk about a project where she served solely as a producer alongside Ackerley.Promising Young Womanwas a movie fronted by actors like Carey Mulligan,Alison Brie, Bo Burnham, and other Hollywood icons includingJennifer Coolidge.
The story centers around a character named Cassie Thomas, who plots to seek revenge against people involved in a case revolving around the r*pe and death of her best friend Nina.

Then Cassie plotted against her ex-school’s dean, who dismissed the entire case. Cassie eventually befriends the suspect’s former lawyer, who regrets everything that happened in the case. And finally, she comes across the suspect himself at his bachelor party. This is about as much information as you need, can’t spoil the entire plot, right?
If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley, they genuinely know how to make an interesting thriller movie.

4I, Tonya (2017)
Now, let’s get back to movies that Margot Robbie starred in and got praised for.I, Tonyais completely based on the infamous assault of Olympic figure-skater Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding as well as her ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly’s association with the attacks.
Tonya Harding, who also managed to get to the Olympics had a rough journey to the top. After multiple trials and errors, Harding struggled to do better than the rest of her competition. Jeff (Sebastian Stan) intervenes and hires henchmen to threaten and hurt Kerrigan, and when they are charged for their mistakes, Tonya is found guilty by association.

Ultimately, Tonya Harding lost her chance to become an esteemed figure skater when the court banned her from competing in the sport for life. Tonya’s marriage and relationships also get trampled in the mix as well. This is a story that cannot be easily described with a simple synopsis, so watching it would certainly be an incredible experience.
I, Tonya, which is based on true events was nominated for over 120 awards, while winning 44 of them including an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress which was given to Allison Janey who acted as LaVona Golden, Tonya’s mother.

Yep, Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley worked on this incredible project that dominated the silver screen for a good amount of time. This was arguably the most hyped release of 2023, starring Robbie and the incredibly dashingRyan Goslingas Ken.
The storyline features Barbie, who struggles to find her identity and gets anxious about morality. Barbie ventures into the real world to find her owner, while the Kens of Barbieland discover patriarchy. The Barbies turn against the Kens, but they eventually unite.
