One of the best additions toStardew Valleywas the ring fusion mechanic, where you can take any two unique rings and put them together.

Of course, though, this comes at a pretty high cost, making you get the rings and twenty cinder shards and having yougo all the way up the volcano on Ginger Island.

Once you’ve made an effort to get the materials, you might feel a little apprehensive about which rings to combine, since you may only equip four in total.

That’s why I’ve compiled this list of ten unique ring combinations that all serve an excellent purpose and can help you through a ton of the game.

10Ring of Yoba + Thorns Ring

Beat ‘em Back

Ring Combo

Ring of Yoba

Thorns Ring

Occasionally shields the wearer from damage.

Monsters take damage equal to the unmitigated damage done to the player.

If you find yourself frequently taking damage, and would rather make that a good thing than get better, this combo is for you. It’ll damage enemies when they hit you, and occasionally make you invincible for a bit after you get hit, meaning you’re able to easily fight anything around you.

I don’t personally make this combo, even though it’s rather inexpensive in the grand scheme of things, just because I prefer not taking damage in the first place. But if you can’t seem to get enemies off of you and want a get-out-of-jail-free card, then this is the combo for you.

Be careful when using this combo, as it will prevent a large amount of damage, but doesn’t give you a higher defense stat. This won’t make you invincible, just harder to kill.

9Amethyst Ring + Napalm Ring

Get Off Me!

Amethyst Ring

Napalm Ring

Increases Knockback by 10%

Monsters will explode when killed.

If you’re struggling with big hordes of enemies and want to get rid of them easily, then the Amethyst Ring will give you knockback, and Napalm will explode them.

This creates a pretty big gap between you and the enemies, and while you could normally pace your attacks well enough to never get hit, this is easier.

The Napalm Ring also offers an excellent burst of damage, so you’ll be killing the enemies a little bit faster, even though you’re getting more distance between you and them.

This is an excellent option if you essentially don’t want to engage with the enemies or the combat at all, and it works great in a pinch.

8Burglar’s Ring + Hot Java Ring

Boundless Caffeine

Burglar’s Ring

Hot Java Ring

Every slain monster tries to drop items twice.

Increased chance to find Coffee or Triple Shot Espresso when slaying monsters.

This is a great ring combo if you want a ton of coffee for free, as the Hot Java Ring will give you freeCoffeeandTriple Shot Espresso, and the Burglar’s Ring will double the output. If you didn’t know, coffee gives you speed and energy, so getting a bunch for free is awesome.

Stardew Valley’s Creator Finally Achieves 100% Completion In His Own Game

Game achievements can be a real pain sometimes, but we finally know how to unlock Stardew Valley’s hardest achievement thanks to its creator.

These two are great since Burglar’s ring will work for any enemy drops in the game, and that’s on top of the extra chance for the coffee. you may use this combo to practically endlessly farm for your drinks without having to pay a single cent, though both of these rings are on the harder side to obtain.

If you’d rather not use a precious accessory slot on Coffee, you can do the “Gifts for George” special order to receive a free cup of coffee every day, grow it yourself, buy it in bulk at the saloon, or just use any speed-boosting items you have stockpiled instead.

7Soul Sapper + Vampire Ring

The Vampire Survivor

Soul Sapper Ring

Vampire Ring

Gain 4 energy after killing an enemy.

Gain 2 health after killing an enemy

While you’re able to down a ton of salads to have tons of energy and health in the mines, if you want to gain even more back, this ring combo helps you out. Soul Sapper and Vampire Ring give you energy and health, respectively, whenever you kill an enemy, making you last longer.

The Soul Sapper ring is found pretty easily in the Volcano Dungeon, and you get the Vampire Ring by killing a ton of bats, so it’s pretty manageable. you’re able to negate ever needing these by just stockpiling food, but if you’re a bit too money-conscious to do that, this is the financially smart option.

6Warrior Ring + Emerald Ring

Swing Fast, Get Past

Warrior Ring

Emerald Ring

Occasionally gives you the Warrior Energy buff for 5 seconds after killing an enemy, giving you +10 attack power.

Increases your attack speed by 10%.

If you’re a fan of insane Attack Speed, this ring combo is for you. Combine this with a dagger, spec into crit, and get the crit ring combos, and you’re golden. The Emerald Ring just increases your attack speed, and the Warrior Ring boosts your attack power for a short time after you kill an enemy.

You can use this Warrior and Emerald combo to go on a rampage, attacking fast enough with enough force that most enemies will die before your buff runs out. Do be wary that the buff is luck-based, so you need to have a backup plan and enough attack power to cover yourself if you don’t get it.

If you combine this with Crit-boosting rings, you can easily obtain incredible DPS that exceeds most other setups in the game, though this isn’t incredibly practical.

5Immunity Band + Crabshell Ring

“Just Don’t Get Hit.”

Immunity Band

Crabshell Ring

Increases Immunity by 4.

Increases Defense by 5.

Though taking damage is usually avoidable, you can pretty frequently be blasted by enemies or projectiles that do a ton of damage and debuff you. This ring combo will remove the brunt of that damage and give you extra immunity, making you more resistant to being debuffed in general.

This means you usually don’t even have to worry about getting hit, especially if you pair it with great boots, like Dragonscale or Space Boots. You can still put all your points into damage, especially if you think your current amount of defense is doing just fine, but some protection never hurts.

While Defense has no upper limit, Immunity caps out at 11 and provides full debuff immunity at that point. If you have Mermaid Boots and this band combination, you’ll be fully immune to debuffs. For this reason, I’d recommend against ever having two Immunity Bands on at once, as one will have little to no effect.

4Aquamarine Ring + Jade Ring

Invest in Crit.

Aquamarine Ring

Increase Critical Strike Chance by 10%.

Increase Criticial Strike Power by 10%

As I said in the attack speed combo, going for crit can help you get the highest DPS in the game, and is usually more important than speed. The Aquamarine Ring boosts your crit chance, and the Jade Ring boosts the damage you do when you crit, which will be quite a lot when using a dagger.

It’s not as single-use, since you may also benefit from this crit when using a Sword or a Mallet, which are considerably nicer weapons. Overall, if you’re looking to boost your damage, you should try having at least one of these rings on, or both if you’re sure you want to crit a ton.

Critical Strike Chance is multiplicative, so if you have Scout and Desperado along with these rings, you’ll crit most of the time, and those crits will deal with around 420% more damage than your usual attack.

3Ruby Ring + Iridium Band

Raw Damage

Iridium Band

Increases Damage by 10%.

Increases damage by 10%, gives a 10-tile radius of light around you, and pulls far away items towards you.

Ifyou’re looking to boost your damage, and you like higher numbers, though, then this combo is both great for the DPS and great for utility. They’ll combine to give you a 20% damage boost, and the Iridium band will also offer you some extra light and item pickup range.

15 Best Games Like Stardew Valley

The secret to games like Stardew Valley is that they have heart, and this list has plenty of it.

No matter what you’re doing, those two extra effects will help you, whether you’re farming at night or in the depths of the Skull Caverns. And when you’re mining, the extra damage comes in handy, and it’s no surprise why so many of the best combos involve the Iridium Band.

2Burglar’s Ring + Iridium Band

A Miner’s Dream

Speaking of mining, we’ve got a great combination of two rings that you’re familiar with at this point, giving you a bevy of great effects.

Namely, the extra damage, glowing, and pickup range are great for dealing with the dangers in the depths, and the extra items you get aren’t too shabby.

The Burglar’s Ring is the highlight of this combo, since it effectively doubles the amount of mob drops you get, while also making rarer items more common.

You essentially kill every enemy twice, and it’s a great effect that’ll leave you coming out of your mining trips with way more loot than before.

The Burglar’s Ring doesn’t just increase drop chances, as it says in the game. It re-rolls the loot table whenever an enemy is killed, meaning you get twice the amount of common items, rare items become twice as common, and you always have a chance to get double drops.

1Lucky Ring + Iridium Band

The All-Rounder.

Lucky Ring

Gives you +1 Luck.

Luck Rings are probably the most overpowered rings in Stardew Valley, so combining them with the reigning champion Iridium Band only makes sense.

This ring boosts your luck stat, which gives you a higher chance of finding gems, treasure chests, prismatic shards, and wood, and improves your odds at any other RNG-based thing.

This makes it awesome to use for mining since, with this combination, you’ll be getting better loot from the mines while also dealing more damage. The only issue is that Luck Rings suck to obtain, so I hope you like panning on Ginger Island for hours just to get nothing.

While the Luck Ring is a permanent, awesome solution to the luck problem, you can mitigate the need for it by only going out on lucky days, eating luck-increasing items like Ginger Ale. Though these methods are time-consuming in their own way, and luck stacks endlessly, so you might as well go for all of the above.
