Wilson Fisk’s Hammer inMarvel’s EchoIs Stressing Out Fans

A user fromTwittershared a collage photo ofVincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin fromMarvel’s Echoand a younger version of Wilson Fisk fromMarvel’s Daredevilwhere both of them were holding a hammer.

This is not just an ordinary hammer but the one used by Fisk to kill his abusive father. Its new design shockingly unsettled fans – one was a conventional hammer, while the other had a rounded head.

There were a few changes in Kingpin’s story, but the gist of it remains the same, although this was already enough to stir debate and cause confusion among fans.Echo’s Fisk held the same reason as theDaredevilshow as to why he murdered his father, so it could be settled that the Netflix series was truly canon.

yeah on second thought this show is a disaster i can’t believe they did this. you’re able to’t just replace the hammer with any old hammer, wheres the respect ? wheres the loyalty

The original hammer was facing some serious allegations😭😭

Yeah I don’t know why they recasted the hammer it’s so stupid 💀 my theory is that the hammer didn’t fit in the box so they had to go to the prop department and get a smaller one instead of making a whole new box.

Fisk probably just bought it for a random hardware store if he ain’t going to the bother of learning sign language for Maya why do you think he’s bother to get the real hammer

— Adrien (@A_ALeeder)August 13, 2025

Has to be variants bruh, im not crazy they just had similar arcs to the netflix versions

— Dacc (@yohan98672512)June 16, 2025

The change in the style of the hammer could mean anything, possibly withEcho’s Episode 5 attempting to show the audience how Maya Lopez tried to heal Kingpin from his traumatic childhood experience.
